TechFlow news, July 21: According to Bitcoin Magazine, Metaplanet subsidiary Bitcoin Japan announced that it has signed a convertible bond financing agreement with EVO Fund, planning to raise 9.66 billion yen to establish a bitcoin reserve, with the first bitcoin purchase amount exceeding 662 million yen. Despite pressure on the cryptocurrency market and a general decline in stock prices of related reserve companies, Bitcoin Japan still views the current market conditions as an entry point for allocating bitcoin.
Meanwhile, Japan is advancing adjustments to the crypto asset regulatory framework, planning to include crypto assets within the category of "financial assets," paving the way for the subsequent launch of related financial products.
