TechFlow reports, on July 21, according to GlobeNewswire, LM Funding America, Inc. announced that it will officially change its name to PowerCompute, Inc. starting from July 22, 2026, and its common stock will also trade on Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol PWCM from the market open on that day. The company stated that the name change aims to unify the corporate brand image, highlighting that its strategic focus has shifted to utilizing its existing 26 MW owned and operating power infrastructure to expand high-performance computing, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and Bitcoin mining businesses.
The company stated that it owns two facilities in Oklahoma and Mississippi, and will advance the next stage of growth based on existing low-cost power resources and Bitcoin reserves. The name change and stock ticker adjustment require no action from shareholders, and the company's CUSIP number remains unchanged.
