TechFlow reports, on July 17, Moonshot AI released open-source AI model Kimi K3. According to reports, the model ranked first with 1679 points in the Frontend Code Arena test, surpassing Claude Fable 5. After the third-party evaluation was released, Musk stated again that the benchmark performance of Kimi K3 is impressive.
Additionally, in March this year, when Kimi released the research paper "𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒔: Rethinking Depth-wise Aggregation", it received praise from Musk: "Kimi's research work is impressive." Previously, he also stated that Zhipu AI's GLM model might surpass the Claude Mythos model (i.e., Fable 5) in Q1 2027, to which Zhipu AI founder Tang Jie responded, "It won't take that long."
