TechFlow News, July 17, according to Xinhua News Agency, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference released the "Global Artificial Intelligence Innovation Index Report 2026", conducting a quantitative evaluation of the AI innovation development of 46 countries across five dimensions: basic support, resources and environment, scientific and technological research and development, industry and application, and international cooperation and exchange.
The report pointed out that AI infrastructure continues to expand, with energy supply becoming a new variable for future development; the focus of large model industrialization is shifting from general-purpose to vertical, and from training to inference, driving the reshaping of entire business processes, while enterprises exhibit characteristics of heavy-asset investment; meanwhile, demand for global AI governance is rising rapidly, and China is promoting global governance and inclusive cooperation across multiple dimensions.
