TechFlow reports that on July 16, 1inch co-founder Anton Bukov announced his departure from the company's operations team and launched a new blockchain infrastructure project, Second Tier.
According to disclosures, Bukov previously led the design of core architectures such as 1inch Router, Fusion, and cross-chain swaps, and ceased participation in 1inch's daily operations in late November 2025 due to disagreements over strategic direction and management, but retains his co-founder status and 50% equity. The new project, Second Tier, is dedicated to building secure and efficient blockchain infrastructure, with the goal of shortening the distance between users' "economic intent" and "final execution."
