TechFlow news, July 12: According to Bali Discovery, the Bali, Indonesia police stated that a 41-year-old Russian man was kidnapped in the South Kuta area on the evening of July 2. He was detained for about 30 hours and forced to hand over crypto asset account passwords under beating and coercion. The report states that the kidnappers also took his mobile phone and rental house keys, and entered his residence to take another mobile phone to access the victim's crypto asset accounts. The victim was left near Jimbaran Udayana University Hospital in the early morning of July 4 and received treatment. The Bali police stated that they are tracking the vehicles involved, CCTV footage, and mobile phone digital footprints, and have not yet disclosed the amount lost in crypto accounts.
