TechFlow news, July 8, the Moonbeam transition period will end on July 31, 2026, after which it will officially close. Wormhole stated that Portal and Wormhole contributors will be unable to assist in recovering trapped assets after that date, reminding users to migrate out external assets bridged to Moonbeam as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Wormhole emphasized that this migration arrangement and deadline are formulated and operated by Moonbeam, not decided by Wormhole or Portal, and relevant arrangements may still change. Officials also noted that success of any transfer is not guaranteed, users must bear transaction responsibilities themselves, and should always verify migration processes and operation information through Moonbeam's official channels.
