TechFlow reports, on July 2, after Aave-Chan Initiative (ACI) founder and Aave ecosystem governance contributor Marc Zeller announced the end of operations for the ACI project, community users asked whether he still holds AAVE tokens or has sold them off. In response, Marc Zeller stated that he had liquidated his AAVE holdings when he resigned from Chaos Labs (possibly still holding a very small amount of "dust-level" tokens).
Previously, Marc Zeller announced that ACI's over three years of governance work has concluded, and new projects are expected to be announced soon. During the governance participation period, the Aave protocol turned from an annual deficit of approximately $35 million to an annual revenue of approximately $150 million, with the AAVE token rising approximately 9-fold during the same period.
