TechFlow News: On June 26, Story (IP) officially rebranded as DATA Foundation. IP tokens were converted to DATA tokens on a 1:1 basis, with no change in the number of token holders. Simultaneously, Trace—the world’s first public audit platform for AI training data—launched, positioning itself as the “Etherscan for AI training data.” DATA surged 28% today.
DATA announced a technical integration with Kled, the world’s largest volunteer-contributed AI data marketplace. Approximately 1.1 billion licensed data entries have been officially onboarded onto the DATA Network, with an estimated 10 million new data registrations added daily. The project aims to rank among the top ten globally by gas fee revenue by year-end.
Poseidon—a DATA ecosystem project backed by a16z and having raised $15 million—announced a strategic partnership with Toss, South Korea’s leading financial application (with ~30 million users). Its data contribution app, Numo, is now integrated into Toss as a mini-program, enabling users to contribute voice, image, and POV behavioral data—and receive real-time on-chain rewards—without downloading any additional app. The two parties plan to expand globally, starting from South Korea.
Poseidon has completed a $15 million seed funding round led by a16z. Its contributor app, Numo, has accumulated over 711,000 on-chain data registration records globally and is now available on iOS, Android, and the Toss app.
