TechFlow News, June 25: According to a report by Business Insider, Tools For Humanity, the developer of Worldcoin, previously engaged two law firms to investigate internal financial irregularities, employee classification issues, and potential violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) in its operations in Thailand.
The report also states that the investigation covered allegations that senior executives authorized large payments to foreign entities to influence the price performance of the Worldcoin token. The company stated that, following the investigation, it terminated relationships with relevant Thai partners and strengthened its internal compliance policies and due diligence procedures. To date, no evidence has been found sufficient to substantiate violations of applicable anti-bribery laws by the company or its employees.
