TechFlow News: On June 23, Ripple received preliminary approval from the Luxembourg Financial Supervisory Authority (CSSF) for its Cryptocurrency Service Provider license, laying the groundwork for launching Ripple Payments across the European Economic Area (EEA) and ensuring compliance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. This preliminary approval will become effective upon fulfillment of final conditions. Combined with Ripple’s existing Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license, European financial institutions can access Ripple’s digital asset and stablecoin payment infrastructure through a single integration.
