TechFlow reports that on June 20, Kelp DAO announced the official discontinuation of rsETH cross-chain bridging services across 20 networks. However, it emphasized that user asset backing remains secure. If users fail to complete cross-chain operations before the deadline, they may reclaim their assets via a recovery process:
Users must burn rsETH on the source chain and pay a fixed fee of 100 USDC on Ethereum Mainnet. Subsequently, both transaction records must be submitted via email to the official team. The project will settle claims quarterly and redeposit the rsETH back onto Ethereum Mainnet. For Movement ecosystem users, a separate recovery process applies, though the underlying asset security mechanism remains consistent.
Kelp DAO reminds users that this recovery window will remain open until June 15, 2027, and requests must be submitted exclusively via the designated email address to avoid risks.
