TechFlow news: On June 19, ZachXBT disclosed that an Indian user reported having 5.73 BTC frozen on Changelly in March 2025. On-chain tracking indicates these funds are linked to social engineering theft targeting U.S. users, with the funds originating from U.S.-based exchanges and Bitcoin ATMs.
ZachXBT stated that this high-confidence theft cluster has stolen over $1 million since 2025, with some victims being elderly individuals; he also suspects that the account “AmanKesar11” may serve as a money-mule for a higher-level operator known as “Mr. Parveen.”
