TechFlow News, June 17: According to Bloomberg, Revolut—a crypto-friendly digital bank—has announced it has obtained relevant licenses approved by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE), marking the beginning of its expansion into the Middle East.
The newly approved licenses include authorization for Stored Value Facilities and retail payment services. Revolut stated that, prior to its official launch, it will prioritize building local technical systems, establishing operational infrastructure, and deploying compliance capabilities.
