TechFlow News, June 16: According to an official announcement, Humanity has released its recovery plan for the $H incident: the legacy version of H on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and the Humanity Mainnet has been deprecated. A new Ethereum ERC-20 version of H will be airdropped 1:1 to eligible holders based on a pre-attack snapshot. Attackers and associated addresses have been excluded.
Externally owned accounts (EOAs) will receive the airdrop directly, while holdings in liquidity pools and other smart contracts will be addressed through subsequent coordination. Humanity also stated that it plans to relaunch its mainnet within the coming weeks, with the new H serving as the native gas token. Additionally, a compensation appeal portal has gone live to address complex on-chain scenarios, including cases where users purchased and continue to hold H after the snapshot.
