TechFlow News, June 16: According to an official announcement, Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) previously declared a cash dividend. Bitget has distributed the corresponding dividends to users based on their rGOOGL holdings at the time of the snapshot.
The snapshot was taken on June 7 at 20:00 EDT (08:00 Beijing Time on June 8). Users holding rGOOGL at the time of the snapshot automatically received the dividend distribution without requiring any additional action. The dividend amount is USD 0.22 per share and has been credited to users’ accounts in USDT. Under U.S. tax law, the securities custodian will withhold 30% federal withholding tax on dividend income.
