TechFlow News, June 15: According to CCTV News, Iranian authorities confirmed on the local date of June 15 that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has issued no transit permits over the past 96 hours. Until further notice, all maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is suspended for all vessels. Previously, vessel-tracking data from the international shipping information platform “MarineTraffic” showed that the liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier “Disha” transited the Strait of Hormuz into the Gulf of Oman on June 15. To date, “Disha” remains the only large-scale energy transport vessel to have passed through the Strait of Hormuz on June 15. (Jinshi)
