TechFlow News: On June 14, cryptocurrency journalist Eleanor Terrett stated on X that for the CLARITY Act to pass before July 4, it must simultaneously secure bipartisan agreement between Republicans and Democrats, revise provisions related to the House Committee on Agriculture, reconcile the House and Senate versions of the bill, secure 60 votes in the Senate, and complete the entire legislative process within an extremely tight timeframe.
She believes these conditions are nearly impossible to satisfy concurrently given the narrow time window, political coordination challenges, and legislative pacing—making the likelihood of the bill’s passage before July 4 “virtually nonexistent.”
