TechFlow News, June 12: Gwynne Shotwell, President of SpaceX, delivered a speech this morning local time at Nasdaq, congratulating employees and stating that the company has “approximately 22,000 employees.” She said: “I am incredibly proud that over half of us actually increased our stock holdings during this IPO, totaling nearly $1 billion.” She also thanked the SpaceX team for “sticking with it” and referenced skeptics who doubted the company’s ability to achieve ambitious goals such as rocket reusability, human spaceflight to orbit, and the construction of Starship.
