TechFlow reports that on June 12, the Bitcoin Core Project issued a security advisory confirming a privacy vulnerability in the -privatebroadcast feature introduced in version 31.0. Under specific network conditions, this vulnerability could cause the IP address of the transaction initiator to be exposed to the receiving peer node. Bitcoin Core stated that the relevant fix is imminent and will be released with version 31.1.
