TechFlow News, June 11: According to a PR Newswire report, Spanish securities services bank Cecabank has launched a crypto-asset custody service for financial institutions. Its first client is Renta 4 Banco, and Bit2Me is collaborating to provide trade execution capabilities. The service leverages Cecabank’s institutional-grade custody infrastructure, with Bit2Me supplying the execution platform, liquidity, and market access—supporting services including buying and selling, order receipt and routing, and transfers.
Cecabank stated that this business is already operational under the regulatory framework of the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and is actively pursuing expansion of these services into the markets of Ireland, Portugal, and Luxembourg.
