TechFlow News, June 10: Zheng Zhajie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), chaired an expert symposium on the economic situation. Zheng stated that the NDRC will earnestly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, fully leverage macroeconomic policies, and maximize the integrated effects of both existing and newly introduced policies. The NDRC will strengthen planning and construction of water networks, new power grids, computing power networks, next-generation communication networks, urban underground utility networks, and logistics networks; promote close integration between investment in physical assets and investment in human capital; and effectively implement the policy of replacing old consumer goods with new ones. It will accelerate the development of a modern industrial system and comprehensively advance the “AI+” initiative; continuously strengthen reform and innovation, deepen the building of a unified national market, and intensively address “cutthroat” competition; enhance energy and resource security safeguards and implement a comprehensive conservation strategy; firmly uphold the basic livelihood safety net and vigorously promote employment for key groups; and simultaneously expedite research and preparation of a batch of targeted, operationally feasible policy tools to be rolled out promptly as needed—thereby steadily consolidating the foundation for sustained, stable, and positive economic growth.
