TechFlow News: On May 26, OKX officially released the Exchange OS Whitepaper. Exchange OS is an open protocol built on X Layer that modularizes core exchange functionalities—including order matching, margin management, liquidation, settlement, and unified accounts—into the protocol layer. Anyone can independently deploy spot, perpetual contract, and prediction markets on Exchange OS without platform approval. User funds are held in protocol-managed smart contracts, preventing any single entity from unilaterally accessing them; both OKX’s proprietary markets and external markets operate under the same protocol rules.
Additionally, Exchange OS supports cross-market unified accounts, enabling users to trade across multiple market types using a single pool of capital.
