TechFlow reports that on May 13, Aave announced the completion of the initial steps in the rsETH technical recovery plan, including burning the rsETH held by the attacker on Arbitrum. Over the coming days, stakeholders will gradually replenish funds into LayerZero’s OFT adapter and resume rsETH-related operations in phases. Kelp previously stated that it has completed a series of rsETH endorsement recovery steps with Aave, and plans to inject 117,132 rsETH tokens—gradually—from the Aave Recovery Guardian and the Kelp Recovery Safe into LayerZero’s OFT adapter on the Ethereum mainnet.
