TechFlow News, May 10: Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he believes the Russia-Ukraine conflict is “drawing to a close” and said Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico informed him that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is prepared to meet.
Putin also expressed Russia’s gratitude to the United States for facilitating dialogue but emphasized that the Russia-Ukraine issue “remains fundamentally a matter between Russia and Ukraine.” He added that such a meeting could take place in a third country, provided a durable peace agreement is reached.
Additionally, Putin described former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder as a suitable mediator for Russia-EU negotiations and expressed hope that the Iran conflict would end as soon as possible. (Jinshi)
