TechFlow News, April 30: Alibaba’s Qwen announced the open-sourcing of Qwen-Scope—a new interpretability module trained on the Qwen3 and Qwen3.5 model series. Applications include directed control of inference outputs, data classification and synthesis, model training and optimization, and analysis and comparison of evaluation sample distributions. The open-sourced Qwen-Scope weights cover seven large language models across the Qwen3 and Qwen3.5 series—including both dense models and Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models—and comprise a total of 14 sparse autoencoder weight sets.
