TechFlow News, April 29: In response to external allegations of a “data leak,” Polymarket issued a statement clarifying that no data has ever been leaked. All such data is publicly accessible via Polymarket’s public API endpoints and on-chain sources—a fundamental feature of on-chain data transparency, not a security vulnerability.
Polymarket emphasized that one of the core advantages of on-chain data is its full public auditability: anyone can freely access relevant data through its API without paying for it.
Earlier reports claimed that prediction market platform Polymarket had suffered a data breach, with over 300,000 records and an exploit toolkit allegedly leaked.
