TechFlow News, April 28: According to The Block, a woman from Saipan was sentenced by a U.S. court to 71 months’ imprisonment for orchestrating a Bitcoin-related fraud scheme targeting multiple elderly victims. The report states that the defendant built trust with victims and then induced them to invest in Bitcoin using false pretexts. The case was determined to constitute a multi-victim fraud scheme.
