TechFlow News, April 26: According to JIN10, Todd Blanche, the U.S. Acting Attorney General, stated that search warrants have been executed against the suspect involved in the security incident at the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) dinner. Blanche indicated that the suspect traveled by train from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., via Chicago. He added that the suspect will be charged in federal court on the morning of April 27. Blanche stated that the WHCA dinner gunman “intended to attack government officials, very likely including the President himself.” He further noted that investigators have already retrieved some information from the suspect’s electronic devices and interviewed several individuals who knew him, enabling them to begin forming an initial understanding of his motive.
