TechFlow News, April 26: The DeFi United ecosystem rescue initiative—led by Aave—continues to progress. The Arbitrum DAO has released 30,765 ETH, previously frozen following the rsETH incident on April 18. As of now, the designated donation address has raised a total of 100,360 ETH to address the collateral shortfall caused by the April 18 rsETH incident.
This plan aims to restore rsETH’s backing assets through multi-party collaboration, stabilize markets, and prevent the cross-protocol spread of bad debt. Funds will support the restoration of collateral ratios and facilitate coordinated efforts across relevant protocols to normalize market conditions.
Key committed or participating parties currently include: the Arbitrum DAO releasing 30,765 ETH frozen after the April 18 rsETH incident; Mantle proposing to contribute 30,000 ETH; AaveDAO proposing to contribute 25,000 ETH; Aave founder Stani Kulechov confirming a contribution of 5,000 ETH; EtherFi proposing to contribute 5,000 ETH; Lido proposing to contribute 2,500 stETH; and the Golem Foundation and related projects collectively contributing 1,000 ETH. Additionally, LayerZero, Ethena, Frax Finance, and Ink Foundation have also confirmed participation, though specific contribution amounts have not yet been disclosed.
