TechFlow News, April 22: According to TechCrunch, AI research lab NeoCognition announced today the completion of a $40 million seed funding round, co-led by Cambium Capital and Walden Catalyst Ventures, with participation from Vista Equity Partners and others. Founded by Professor Yu Su of The Ohio State University and others, NeoCognition focuses on enabling AI agents to build environment-specific “world models” through real-world operational experience—rather than relying solely on general pretraining—to enhance task execution reliability. NeoCognition currently targets the enterprise market and plans to offer embeddable AI agent systems for SaaS companies.
