TechFlow News, April 21: The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government issued a notice on the “Implementation Plan for the National Pilot Zone for Innovation and Development of the Digital Economy (Shanghai),” which states that cutting-edge technology exploration will be conducted. Pilot applications and productization of brain-computer interface (BCI), sixth-generation mobile communications (6G), and quantum computing technologies will be accelerated, alongside the construction of a shared R&D service platform for generic technologies. Research will be carried out on establishing an innovation testbed for the third-generation internet (Web3.0), exploring the development of a trusted technological foundation based on smart contracts, and conducting technical validation in an orderly manner.
