TechFlow News, April 21: According to a Reuters report, SpaceX’s prospectus reveals that President Gwynne Shotwell earned total compensation of $85.8 million last year, placing her among the highest-paid executives in the United States. Shotwell also serves as Chief Operating Officer, with a base salary of $1 million; the majority of her compensation came from stock options and awards. The prospectus summary shows that Chief Financial Officer Bret Johnson’s total compensation amounted to $9.8 million, while Elon Musk, SpaceX’s CEO and largest shareholder, paid himself only $54,080 in salary.
