TechFlow News: According to CCTV’s International News Update on April 13, Ibrahim Aziz, head of Iran’s Parliament National Security Committee, stated in an interview on April 12, local time, that the Americans were not engaged in sincere negotiations in Islamabad, Pakistan, from April 11–12. Instead, the U.S. attempted to impose its will upon Iran under the guise of diplomatic language. Aziz said Iran approached the U.S. with deep distrust and firmly safeguarded Iranian people’s interests regarding nuclear issues, the Strait of Hormuz, sanctions relief, and compensation claims—upon seeing Iran’s resolve, the U.S. backed down.
