TechFlow reported that on April 2, PeckShield (@PeckShieldAlert), a blockchain security firm, detected a suspected major outage on HyperEVM. This assessment was based on blockchain explorers showing the latest block and transactions as having occurred “1 hour ago,” with some blocks displaying zero transactions—suggesting on-chain data may have stopped updating.
However, user replies clarified that the above anomalies stem from data latency issues within the blockchain explorer itself—not from an underlying chain failure of HyperEVM. In fact, a banner at the top of the explorer’s page explicitly warns, “Block data may be delayed.” Other third-party explorers (e.g., Hyperscan) continue to display normal on-chain activity.
