TechFlow News, March 27: Earlier reports indicated that David Sacks would step down from his role as the White House’s lead on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency affairs. On X, he shared a Fox News report—apparently in response. According to Fox Business, a senior White House advisor stated that David Sacks will continue serving as the White House’s lead on AI and cryptocurrency matters and has also been appointed Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), advising on broader critical technology issues—thus expanding his role within the Trump administration. David Sacks noted that, following numerous achievements in the first year, President Trump has outlined additional priorities for 2026. The President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology is moving swiftly to deliver more wins for America.
As of now, David Sacks’s official White House-affiliated X account bio still reads: “White House A.I. & Crypto Czar.”
