TechFlow News, March 25: According to CoinDesk, Ripple has announced its participation in the BLOOM initiative under Singapore’s Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), where it will test an automated cross-border trade finance settlement solution powered by its stablecoin RLUSD within the regulatory sandbox.
Ripple is collaborating with supply-chain fintech company Unloq to build a condition-triggered payment system on the XRP Ledger. Once predefined conditions—such as goods verification—are met, the system automatically releases RLUSD payments, replacing cumbersome traditional trade finance processes reliant on manual verification, letters of credit, and correspondent banking relationships—and significantly shortening settlement cycles that previously took days or even weeks.
