National-Level Power Industry AI Pilot Base Welcomes First Batch of Enterprises, Including Huawei, ZTE, and Baidu
The 2026 Alliance Working Conference and Inaugural Ecosystem Event of the National AI Application Piloting Base (Energy Sector—Power Direction) was held in Guangzhou. Eight enterprises and institutions—including China Southern Power Grid Digital Group’s AI Research Center, Huawei, ZTE, and Baidu—officially joined the piloting base as the first cohort of members.
TechFlow News, March 21: The 2026 Alliance Work Conference and inaugural ecosystem event of the National AI Application Pilot Base (Energy Sector—Power Domain) were held in Guangzhou. Eight enterprises and institutions—including China Southern Power Grid Digital Group’s AI Research Center, Huawei, ZTE, and Baidu—officially joined the pilot base as its first cohort of members.
According to a reporter from Yicai, the pilot base serves as a “bridging platform” for AI in the power sector, having successfully connected over 100 organizations across diverse fields to facilitate efficient resource sharing and collaborative expansion. Other members of this first cohort include Trina Technology, NARI Information & Communication, TianShu Intelligent Chips, and Tailho Software. The reporter also learned that, by 2026, the pilot base plans to onboard 30 enterprises, offering ecosystem partners end-to-end support—including technology validation, use-case matching, and technology commercialization—to jointly advance the large-scale application of AI technologies in the power sector and drive industry paradigm innovation.
