TechFlow News, March 19: According to CBS News, the U.S. Senate on Wednesday rejected a War Powers Resolution introduced by Democratic Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey. The resolution, aimed at restricting Trump’s ability to take military action against Iran, failed for the third time in a 53–47 vote.
The Senate had previously rejected an Iran War Powers Resolution introduced by Democratic Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia on March 4—the second such rejection within less than a year. The first occurred last June, following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. (Jinshi)
