TechFlow News: On March 18, according to JINSHI Data, Alibaba Cloud announced on its official website that, due to the global surge in AI demand and rising supply-chain costs, prices for Alibaba Cloud’s AI computing power and storage products will increase by up to 34%. Specifically, computing cards such as the T-Head Zhenwu 810E will see price hikes of 5%–34%, while the CPFS (Intelligent Computing Edition) file storage product will rise by 30%. According to insiders, another key driver behind this round of price increases is the “explosive growth in token consumption.” Alibaba Cloud’s Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform, Bailian, achieved its highest-ever growth rate in January–March this year. Alibaba Cloud is now prioritizing scarce AI computing resources toward its token-related business. (Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily)
