TechFlow News: On March 17, according to an official announcement from Neutron, the Neutron blockchain has officially transitioned to long-term maintenance mode due to continuously deteriorating market conditions, failure to identify a viable growth strategy or acquisition partner. Hadron Labs will maintain the network until June 30, 2026; thereafter, the network’s continued operation will depend on community support.
Users must act promptly: Supervaults and DEX new deposits were disabled as of March 16 and will be fully suspended by April 17; dNTRN redemptions will open on March 23; wstETH holders must bridge their assets back to Ethereum before June 30; details regarding the NTRN redemption mechanism will be announced separately. Additionally, Neutron’s governance and tokenomics will be simplified to align with the standard Cosmos chain model; remaining assets after the foundation’s liquidation will be returned to the DAO. Fireblocks’ support for Neutron will end by the end of April 2026.
