TechFlow News, March 16: According to The Block, Streamex Corp., a Nasdaq-listed tokenization company (ticker: STEX), announced the appointment of Christine Plummer as Chief Financial Officer.
Plummer spent over two decades at Morgan Stanley and later served as Global Head of Finance at cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Streamex stated that Plummer will oversee the company’s financial operations and drive the expansion of its institutional platform.
Streamex primarily focuses on tokenizing real-world assets such as gold. In February this year, the company launched GLDY, a tokenized security product designed to provide investors with gold exposure and generate yield. The company believes gold tokenization holds potential to surpass Bitcoin in trading volume, market capitalization, and institutional adoption.
