TechFlow News, March 14: According to Ming Pao, Chinese AI startup Moonshot AI is seeking to expand its fundraising round, targeting up to $1 billion. Upon completion of this round, the company’s valuation is expected to reach approximately $18 billion.
Regarding valuation, the company was valued at $4.3 billion following a $500 million funding round completed at the end of last year. In February this year, it secured another $700 million in funding, raising its valuation to $10 billion; Alibaba and Tencent both participated in this round. Investors for the current round have yet to be confirmed. Moonshot AI’s flagship product is the Kimi chatbot.
