TechFlow News, March 13: According to a Cointelegraph report, U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune stated that the Senate is not expected to advance digital asset market structure legislation before April. Thune noted that the Senate will prioritize consideration of the SAVE America Act next week—a bill requiring voters to provide proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote—before turning its attention to cryptocurrency market structure legislation and other bipartisan bills. He added that the market structure bill is expected to emerge from the Senate Banking Committee soon, “but likely not before April.”
