TechFlow reports that on March 6, DeFi stablecoin protocol Curve Finance publicly accused PancakeSwap of copying its StableSwap code without permission for its newly launched stablecoin swap functionality—a move allegedly violating the open-source license agreement. Curve warned that projects in the past which used StableSwap code without authorization (e.g., Saddle and Balancer) all suffered severe security incidents, and urged PancakeSwap to proactively contact Curve to seek legitimate licensing and technical collaboration.
