TechFlow reports that on March 6, in response to community concerns about the slow rollout of MegaETH, GMX stated that since MegaETH’s mainnet launched in the second week of February, ecosystem development remains in its early, incremental phase. Currently, on-chain TVL remains relatively modest, and most protocols are still undergoing testing and optimization. GMX confirmed that its smart contracts have already been deployed on-chain, and the team is advancing multiple preparatory tasks—including ensuring initial liquidity is in place, refining LP incentives for the GLV [USDM-USDM] treasury, optimizing the trading user experience, and coordinating with DeFi protocols building on MegaETH to leverage composability advantages. However, no official launch date has yet been announced; GMX expects to follow up promptly after MegaETH releases its next-phase ecosystem development plan.
