TechFlow News, February 26: According to Fortune, cryptocurrency trading platform STS Digital recently announced a $30 million funding round led by CMT Digital, with participation from Kraken, Arrington Capital, and Fidelity Investments’ division. The platform specializes in providing institutional investors with options trading services across more than 400 cryptocurrencies and acts as a market maker to supply liquidity.
Founded in 2022 by former Credit Suisse and UBS traders Maxime Seiler and Gideon Hyams, STS Digital has grown to nearly 50 employees. The company’s revenue tripled between 2024 and 2025, achieving profitability; its clients include prominent crypto entities such as the Uniswap Foundation.
The company plans to use the proceeds from this funding round to scale up trading volume, serve larger institutional clients, and expand its workforce. Amid volatility in the crypto market, STS Digital believes options trading offers institutional investors superior risk management tools compared to perpetual contracts.
