TechFlow news: On January 28, according to Cointelegraph, NFT marketplace Rodeo announced its shutdown on Tuesday, becoming the second NFT platform this week—after Nifty Gateway—to announce cessation of operations. Kayvon Tehranian, CEO and co-founder of Rodeo, stated that although the platform launched on iOS in March last year and focused on creator rewards and social experiences, it failed to achieve the scale required for sustainability. Rodeo will transition to read-only mode on February 10 and is scheduled to fully shut down on March 10, while providing users with solutions to migrate their assets to platforms such as Arweave.
