TechFlow News: On January 27, the robotics project OpenMind will launch on the App Store—the first cross-ontology robot app store built on the open-source operating system OM1. Developers can centrally publish applications and skills here, while robot owners can easily deploy new functionalities to their robots.
The first application went live last week. The initial batch of apps will focus on education, healthcare, elder companionship, and home security. Current collaborating partners include UBTECH, Agibot, Fourier Intelligence, DeepRobotics, Zhiyi Dynamics, UFactory, Booster, and Magic Atom.
Additionally, Fabric Foundation—the foundation behind OpenMind—conducted a token sale on the Kaito platform on January 26. Fabric community members and select partner communities received priority allocation quotas. This round was oversubscribed within five hours of launch.
