TechFlow reports that on January 26, Matcha Meta posted on X stating it had become aware of a security incident related to SwapNet. Some users who had disabled “one-time approval” on Matcha Meta may be affected. Matcha Meta has contacted the SwapNet team, which has temporarily disabled its contracts. After joint review with the 0x Protocol team, it was confirmed that this incident does not involve 0x’s AllowanceHolder or Settler core contracts. Users interacting with Matcha Meta via one-time approval can continue using the platform safely. However, to prevent similar incidents from recurring, Matcha Meta has removed the feature allowing users to directly set allowances with aggregators.
